I used to be able to click on the favorite to restore it's icon, but that doesn't work anymore. I have all the latest updates both on Windows and Chrome. Strangely, Live Server caches an old version of the favicon my website is using, even though it's not declared in the HTML at all. I have to explicitly declare a new icon in order to get it changed. It gets even more frustrating when I comment out that declaration and the favicon is still there, but only in Google Chrome.

It appears to usually populate this cache sometime after a page is completely loaded. On initial page load, the favicon shows just fine in Chrome tabs. The above post solved it. I still have to visit the websites to force the favicon to load, but I have confirmed with SQLitebwoser that the favicons are loading properly now. I noticed that the favicons don't load if the bookmark URL isn't exact. For example, one of my bookmarks didn't have the www. but it still took me to the page.
